This customer in Swanbourne had a split system which was well past its used by date. The house was under renovation and they took the time to replace the old system which was no longer working with a new 7kw Daikin Cora to service the living room. The client also wanted the ducted outdoor unit moved onto a wall bracket near the new system as to free up space in the outdoor area. They are both sitting 3 metres off the ground which leaves a lot of space free.
After some wild and stormy weather this client found that both air conditioners were not working. Further testing indicated that the systems had taken a hit from a power surge. This in turn had us write up an insurance report for the customer which gave them two brand new Mitsubishi Heavy Industry split systems being installed in replace of the old units. Clients were very happy as all they were out of pocket for was the excess.
Here we have a Regency stand alone log fire which was failing to start. During the service we repaired the faulty connections, cleaned out the unit, checked for gas leaks and carbon monoxide levels and the heater was back up and running.
