The house here had an old Fujitsu split system which was no longer working and due to the age wasn't viable to repair. It was swapped out with a brand new R32 Daikin split system air conditioner mounted on a wall bracket. The new model Daikins are much more efficient than previous models and extremely quiet. A 6kw Daikin was installed along with another 2.5kw for the master bedroom. The old Fujitsu unit was decomissioned and removed from the premises for the client.
There were 3 Mitsubishi Electric split systems installed at this residence in Carlisle. One was installed in each bedroom with side access as it was limited to where the indoor units could fit on the wall. All of the air conditioners come with a 5 year warranty and are reverse cycle which cool in the summer and heat in the winter. Being a 2.5kw air conditioner, they covered the bedroom area without a problem. On top of the installation, all of the units came with a $100 cash back which means the owner received $300 back from Mitsubishi for installing these air conditioners during the cash back offer. All 3 of the systems were installed back to back on feet with seperate power circuits to cover all aspects of warranty.
This Daikin split system was installed in the master bedroom of the house in Forrestfield. The outdoor unit had to be at the correct height for the clothes line to clear it when closed. This 2.5kw Daikin will cool and heat the 15 square metre room all year round.
